Great value for money; we would stay here again. Superior hotel, amazing service, satisfying breakfast. We had an inner courtyard view and an iron, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a study table...
-
Nice comfy base for city trip in Torquay. Free Wi Fi was working perfectly.
-
Only a short distance to Spice Cellar, where you can have lunch. Perfect for trip: )

We were warmly and personally welcomed by Jill and Warren, as if we were part of their family! Thank you so much for that!!! The breakfast was wonderful, homemade and gave us a perfect insight into the English breakfast!!!! The rooms are very lovingly and comfortably furnished! We'll be happy to come back!

The atmosphere was very friendly and we immediately felt welcome. The high expectations were exceeded. The house was designed with great attention to details.

Jo and Will are very welcoming, the room is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is excellent.

Everything.Jo n Will couldn't do enough for you.If you like a quiet area with luxury, this is the place to come. You pay for what you get and this is the best you will get in Torquay. We had a beautiful week there and brought the Maltese weather with us.One day it was 27c.Hope that more Maltese people will go there,it's a wonderful place.

A warm welcome from the owners and helpful advice on local taxis. A first class breakfast was served in the morning in a very pleasant breakfast room.

We were very impressed with Kingston House, it is the best guest house that we have ever stayed in. Will and Jo were fabulous hosts and have a magic formula of being attentive without being intrusive, they make you feel immediately at home and special guests. We particularly liked the welcome cup of tea and hot cross buns, and the special thoughtfulness of an Easter Card and an Easter Egg when we left. There are so many well thought out details and ideas, for example sweets by the side of the bed, magazines, hairdryer etc. The traditional breakfast was innovative in design, different and delicious. On site parking was a plus for staying in Torquay and the house is beautifully furnished with taste and style. Kingston House overshadows other hotels and guest houses up and down the country and stands majestically in Torquay as an oasis of tranquility and luxury. The owners should be very proud of their achievements, dedication and hard work to make this the best!!

Wholeheartedly recommend this very welcoming & comfortable, cosy guest house. Excellent cooked breakfasts with varied choices.
car parking could be a problem to some, need to ask people to move their car in order to get out on occasions.

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed. On arrival we were made to feel extremely welcome and treated to tea and cake. The rooms were spotlessly clean with white linen and towels. There was complimentary tea, coffee and fresh milk, and bathroom products. Nothing was too much trouble and Warren and Jill were excellant hosts. We would definately go back.
nothing the house and owners were perfect

We've stayed for 5 days at Kingston house and we were treated like kings thanks to the dedicated and very friendly owners Jill & Warren. They've made our stay unforgettable. From all of the hosts we've met during our holiday they were the kindest and friendliest of all.

Although it is quite a quaint exterior to this Hotel, the interior is very attractive and well maintaned. The owners were very welcoming, although not at all intrusive. It provided a nice one night stop off and i was disappointed that we actually had planned to stay elsewhere the following night as it felt cosy and inviting. The breakfast was smashing served in a lovely light and airy Breakfast room. The owners were happy to impart local information and tips of places to see and eat. And the price was very reasonable. we would recommend this to sight seers and business travellers alike although if you dont want to have to walk into Torqay itself, you might wish to choose somewhere nearer to the town. England needs more Gem B and B's like this.
The noisy road outside unfortunately and it is quite a long walk into town for anyone who is not fit. You would need to drive into Torquay if you were older or had small children.
